In great countries, children are always trying to remain children, and the parents want to make them into adults. In vile countries, the children are always wanting to be adults and the parents want to keep them children.(John Ruskin, (1819-1900))

I love the quote above so much, I don’t think I should add too much to it. Just try to breathe in this thought: As a tree farm does not strive to raise saplings, we do not strive to raise kids.

A tree farm raises trees; we parents raise adults. Not even a goat farmer raises kids!

We are raising men and women, preparing them for a life of their own. Let us all, always, remember that.

Peace begins with a pause,
