If I were given 8 hours to chop a tree, I’d spend 6 hours sharpening the axe.(Abraham Lincoln)

Even though I was one, I’ve never really lived by the Boy Scout motto: Be Prepared.

I know that preparation is a necessary key to success, but I just don’t like doing it. I don’t like packing the night before a trip, or stretching before a workout, or even warming up before playing golf.

But just because I don’t like it doesn’t mean I don’t need to do it. Especially for the things that matter most.

If I want to want to increase my influence as a leader, I’ve got to prepare myself to write better books.

If I want to make my marriage closer, I’ve got to prepare myself to have better conversations.

If I want to better prepare my teens for adulthood, I’ve got to prepare myself to be, well, a better adult first.

I hope you believe the same is true for you, and I hope you believe ScreamFree can help. We’ve got some big things coming your way in 2016, beginning with a totally new website, and a totally new set of online tools, all designed to help you get prepared for your best possible 2016.

We want to help you face your conflicts, and find your peace, and we want to help your spouse, your kids, your neighbor, and even your enemy do the same.

Please stay tuned…

Peace begins with a pause,

Hal
