Jenny here. Most people would agree it’s a good idea to live in a peace-filled relationship with each of your children. That would be considered a “good idea” to all of us. But, as we know – and as this quote reminds us – just because we like the idea of something doesn’t mean we can easily do it.
Becoming ScreamFree means putting yourself into practice. It means waking up each day and resolving anew the promise to practice self-control…and stop trying to control your kids.
Don’t beat yourself up if you are having a hard time doing all this. Just keep driving it home with courageous patience and soon you’ll find your auto pilot has adjusted its course.
